There is a guy in two of my classes who I have nicknamed Solemn Boy. He is the most expressionless person I have ever known. Okay I don't "know" him but I have spoken to him. I say spoken to him because his response consisted of two words and a grunt of acknowledgement. I probably said twenty words and I am far from a big talker.

He is shy, he really is. Painfully shy. It is literally painful to watch him not know what to say. One of the classes that I have him in is acting class. You cannot say nothing in an acting class. I feel so bad for him because he comes across as being dumb or a slacker. This girl next to me commented on the fact that she thought he must be a stoner. I don't know him but I so badly wanted to defend him.

He has this innocent puppy dog look about him. He has wide blue eyes and this flawless pale skin and thick brown hair that is often sporting bed head.(It is a nine o'clock class.) He's gotta be at least six foot four (I'm a terrible guesser at height) and he always looks so stiff and uncomfortable.

I'd really like to help him out, though I'm not sure as to what. But even I am intimidated by his shyness.
