..rain on my parade
hands
2002-02-05 @ 11:08 a.m.

I have the worst habit of writing on my hands. It doesn't matter if there is a piece of paper in my midst I will jot down notes to myself on my hand. On Sunday night I wanted to remember some names of songs so I picked up a blue metallic gelly roll pen and wrote it down. Then later I added another in green permanent marker. Just a warning don't EVER write in blue metallic gelly roll on your hand! It does not come off. The "permanent" marker had an icky green tone yesterday but the blue stuff was completely readable. How is that possible. I wash my hands. I'm not one of those uncleanly people. But even today I can read "Across the universe" in slightly lightened blue ink.
