As much as I love my mother she can upset me so badly. And it wouldn't upset me as much if I didn't care about her opinion so much. When me and my dad fight it's not as scarring because I really don't care what he thinks. But my mom and me got in on the fact that I will have a child regardless if I find someone which each day seems less likely. It bothers me that she thinks she can understand when I am nearly 22 and single. When she was my age she was married and had two kids. She was 15 when she met my father and was married at 18. How can she POSSIBLY know what it's like to feel desperatly single. I don't claim to know what it's like to be married and 42.
