My excitement for today. Buying towels. White big fluffy towels, the big kind that I can wrap around my body and not worry that if I move I'll give someone a free peep show. Buying towels isn't really exciting in itself but buying towels and getting them for 80% off is. Yup, I am really 21 though when the highlight of your day is buying towels one tends to wonder.
My word for today is cuchata (phonetically spelled) which who like me do not speak Spanish is spoon. My goal is to learn one spanish word a day. So far I know tenedor (fork) cuchata (spoon) and dassa (cup). Okay so maybe I can't carry on an intelligent conversation with any hot hispanic guys but I can ask for more cups (mas dassa) at work. If I plan to work as a waitress for the rest of my life I think it would make sense to know adequate spanish considering that 95% of the people who aren't waitress' that work there speak about as much english as I speak spanish. Boy was I stupid to take french instead of spanish.
