The third wheel. You can't really understand this term until you have been one. I seem to be the permanent one. Being single isn't so bad when you have single friends but when you have friends like Jess who's been with James for a year (as of today) it's the third wheel syndrome. Jess has this intense want for me and James to be friends. She always wants all three of us to do stuff together. The problem is James drives me nuts most of the time. Jess says that is because we are so alike.

Like friday is Jess' 21st birthday which I was expecting to be a lot of fun. But it's going to be Jess and James, their married friends Brandon and Jen and oh yeah me. This is how the night goes. Brandon and James will get really drunk and Jess and Jen will yell at them and start the counting. "Brandon that's one...that's two." Sigh. Wish me luck.
