I'm back! I'm back! Oh my goodness it is good to be back! My dad and me had a long talk on Friday. There should be extreme importance placed on the term talk. Me and my dad NEVER talk. It always starts as talking, then he refuses to let me tell my side and it turns into a shouting match, mostly on his behalf. I usually end up crying.
But on Friday he told me the school issue just upsets him because I am wasting all my potential and gifts. He still doesn't see eye to eye with me but he pretty much agreed to disagree which is a vast improvement. He even said "I love you" while going out the door. You have to understand that I can count the times my dad has told me he loved me on one hand. So things are definitly improving.
