waitressing

31!

I love waitressing! It's sad but true, I have been there for over two months and I still really enjoy it. Yes there are the rude people and the one that don't leave tips and I have to shower as soon as I get home because I reek of grease and cigarette smoke. But I still love it. People give me a sideways glance when I say it like I must be crazy. But there are certain people who make it worth it. Like today I had a table of three old ladies and I heard one of them say "Isn't she pleasant." Then when they were leaving that one thanked me and said that she really enjoyed me as a waitress. Things like that make it worthwile. My boss is really nice too. She is constantly praising me. I can get used to that. The biggest compliment from her today was that she said that she should hook me up with her son Peter, whom I have a crush on. Isn't that a wonderful compliment?
