The countdown has begun for my TWENTY FIRST birthday! My big day is May 25. I can't even believe that I have made it to this point. God, I'm old. I think it is fate that my birthday lands on a Saturday. Isn't that convenient? The only problem is none of my other friends are of age yet. Miriah from work wants to take me out. I love Miriah we really get along but she, I hate to be so cliche but hangs with a bad crowd. I am so the opposite. I'm so the little goody~goody that I know I won't fit in. I haven't even gotten drunk before. Just a drink here and there. The person I really want to take me out is ...you guessed it, Jeremy. He had talked about taking me out when we were still dating. And I mean we still are friends so maybe....but I do not want to say anything to ahead of time in case things change.

What I find hilarious is the fact that my mom doesn't want me to go out for my twenty first birthday. She says that is what "other" girls do. Her exact quote was "You are going to thank God for letting you live for 21 years by getting drunk." I love the woman dearly but sometimes I believe that she lives in a different century.
