Today while munching on breakfast I was watching the "Baby Phat" video by De La Soul. I REALLY like that music video because all the women in it are in the plus size category. Being a size twelve myself, it makes me feel good to know that they are showing these women to be attractive compared to the usual video model who is on average a size two. But I found it really strange that they bleeped out the word "anorexic" from the lyrics. Is this a bad word that I was not aware of? The lyrics should go as "Every woman ain't a video chick...Or runway model anorexic".
It felt good for once to be a "voluptous" girl. Jessica, my size four friend was all pissy because I got to look at Lane Bryant for clothes(which suprisingly has very nice stuff). She couldn't fit in a thing. It felt really nice to have the tables turned.I can't even count how many times I've had to sit outside stores like Limited and Express,that only cater to smaller sizes.
